Requirements for business visa:

• visa application form, duly completed and signed by the applicant.
• one recent passport size photograph affixed on the form.
• passport with a validity of six months from the date of entry into Greece.
• previous passport or passports may also be requested.
• letter from employer stating applicant's professional status, purpose of visit to Greece, duration of stay, sponsorship of air ticket / travel expenses.
• proof of sufficient funds to cover expenses during stay in Greece (travelers cheques, foreign exchange endorsement on the passport, international credit cards (statements to be submitted), salary slip, income tax declaration, bank statements and income tax returns - personal and company.
• In case that a Greek company has invited the applicant(s), submission of correspondence on existing business co-operation (documents showing business relations such as letters, invoices, bank transfers, etc). In addition, a confirmation letter from that company should be faxed to the visa section's fax no. 00 91-11- 24 67 52 31.
• hotel reservation and/or an affidavit from the Greek Company undertaking responsibility for the applicant's expenses.
• confirmed return air ticket.
• personal travel insurance with minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros (for emergency medical treatment by a doctor, urgent ambulance transportation, transportation back to home country if required for medical reasons).
• commercial documents i.e. certificate / registration from an Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industries + (Company profile).
• interview, if required.
